Out and About

The Vic Train Station that comes in from Barcelona.

Lots of sidewalks are like this. Really small and in between tall buildings. Almost all of the tall builidings are composed of flats. I didn't see any singular-type homes like back home.

My first taste from back home :)

Temple Roma.

First thing that came to mind when I saw these - what are they? Turns out they're olives but with pits. Not my favourite. They were served with my meal.

My giant pizza at a local cafe. It was really good! Not very Spanish of me but I'll get there. It will help when I can go for dinner with someone who can decipher the menu for me. I even took my Spanish dictionary but the menu is Catalan so it didn't help much.
Just a few pictures from my first full day in Vic. I was wandering town for a couple hours today and I've decided I really like it. I love being able to walk everywhere. I got lost a couple of times but I found my way. And guess what... I love the shopping here :) I know what a few people would have to say to that.
Anyway, until next time...

  1. You have to go to Cook Robin. They make the best pizza! Did you see any kitties at the Temple? If not, you will soon, there are cats everywhere in Vic. My favourite part is the cute old men and women who feed them.
    Enjoy Vic, Kels.

  2. I've heard of that place. I've been meaning to go there. And ya I've seen kitties wandering around the Temple. Haven't seen anyone feeding them though! I will keep my eyes peeled!
